HAWKEYE LAND SYSTEMS
Having a visual image of both hostile and friendly forces, at a range that enables the commander to make informed decisions and is an essential element of modern ground operations. Hawkeye is a family of advanced multi-sensor surveillance and targeting systems from Chess Dynamics that provides this visualisation capability. The systems provide comprehensive 24-hour surveillance and target identification in a broad range of operational scenarios and tactical applications.
The Hawkeye family of systems employs the latest image processing and system automation techniques to reduce dependence upon operator time and skill, thereby reducing workload and training requirements. Based upon common system architecture, the Hawkeye family provides a flexible approach to surveillance that enables different applications to be accommodated, whilst employing standard operating procedures, a low training burden and an integrated support philosophy.

Hawkeye Fixed Surveillance (Fixed Electro Optical Surveillance System) Hawkeye Fixed Surveillance is a heavy duty, extreme range surveillance system. This system has been specifically designed for use in the harshest environments to provide 24 hour long range surveillance. Ideally suited to land and coastal surveillance applications, it is easily integrated into a range of leading ground surveillance radars providing reliable long-range detection and positive identification.
Hawkeye Vehicle Surveillance (Mobile Electro Optical Surveillance System) In this configuration, Hawkeye’s cameras and director are mounted on a hydraulic/pneumatic mast. If ground surveillance radar is specified, this can be mounted together with the director on the mast orzz separately. Control is achieved through the use of ruggedized processor PCs with TCP/IP outputs, allowing for local and/or networked control.
Hawkeye Air Defence (Air Defence Electro Optical System with optional radar) Control of the system is achieved through the use of ruggedized processor PCs with TCP/IP outputs, allowing for local and/or networked control surveillance.
