RESEARCH SPOTLIGHT: PROFESSOR BRIAN GARROD, PROFESSOR OF MARKETING
Professor Brian Garrod’s research focuses on the marketing of tourism destinations, particularly with regard to issues such as sustainability and ecotourism: an ecologically focused form of sustainable tourism. He has published over 50 journal articles and is the co-author of eight textbooks on the subject. Brian’s current research is looking at the barriers people with disabilities face in accessing ecotourism and how these barriers might best be addressed.
