UNDERFLOOR HEATING

SUPPLIER - UNIPIPE

Removing barriers to UFH installation on upper floors

UNIPIPE IRELAND’S NEO 20 DRY-FIT SYSTEM CAN BE INSTALLED WITHOUT SCREED AND IS COMPATIBLE WITH ALL FLOOR FINISHES INCLUDING TILES, WOOD AND EVEN CARPETS… U nipipe Ireland’s newest MFH any need to settle for second best by using radiators upstairs or for renovation work. Only 20mm high, the Ideal Classic Neo 20 features a very rapid heat-up time. Running at a very low temperature, it is suitable for heat pumps but may also be used for cooling during warmer weather. The Ideal Classic system uses Unipipe’s most popular 16mm multilayer composite pipe, which is suitable for use in both dry fit and traditional UFH systems. dry fit system of rapid response underfloor heating (UFH) removes Light in weight, it is ideal for wooden upper floors over smart or engineered joists and timber frame construction. The system is available in 20mm EPS boards with pre-bonded aluminium heat profile in Omega shape. Choose between, carpets on underlay, engineered wood straight onto the dry-fit or you can use 5mm Strong boards for undertiling.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS OF THE IDEAL CLASSIC NEO 20: • Fast-acting heat distribution (no inertia): heating on demand, short- term temperature adjustment • Products of all systems made in Europe: delivery reliability, quality control • Identical products/systems for heating and cooling, eg with heat pump: same elements used for floors, walls and ceilings, one system technology for all surface temperature control systems • All surface heating and cooling applications can be operated CO2-free: hydraulic with heat pump • Suitable for low floor construction: direct laying of tiles, floorboards and parquet possible • Reduced installation times due to logical installation forms: one-person installation without specialist knowledge • Lowest heating water temperature:

elements: high pressure load capacity of the floor • Protection against mould and moisture: heating keeps minimum temperature constant • Aluminium heat conduction plates: fast heat transfer (high thermal conductivity), glued on at factory to simplify installation, avoids strip heating with thin load distribution layers • Flanging of the heat conducting plates (rounding): no damage to the heating pipe or risk of injury • Exact fit of the heating pipe due to omega shape: optimised heat transfer • Suitable for heating and cooling: high comfort in summer, particularly for heat pumps • Isothermal surface temperatures: uniform ground temperature • No dry heating of the screed and no heating up: shortening of construction time by up to 40 days • Cutting recesses/break points of the heating elements: fast and full-surface installation • Low installation height from 20mm: no loss of room height • Uniform installation spacing: uncomplicated, rapid installation • Minimal inversion installation: installation in occupied condition

1° lower temp = 6 % lower power consumption for the heat pump

• Minimum overall construction (eg floor) of the heating system: 30-50mm (floor/ wall/ceiling) • Decentralised heating system (single room heating): in new buildings and renovation, room-by-room installation • No moisture ingress through drywall: no construction time delay or moisture damage • Increasing the value of the property: value retention over many decades • Hollow-free installation of the heating
