Student Officers Elected S t u d e n t s o f B io l a C o lleg e , one of the four schools of The Bible Institute of Los Angeles, Inc., have elected officers for the next year, be­ ginning with September, 1962. Mr. James Allen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Allen, 1616 North Win- stil Blvd., Tucson, Arizona, has been chosen as president of the nearly 1,- 000 associated students. As a sopho­ more, Mr. Allen is majoring in Chris­ tian Education. He has worked as a youth sponsor on the Los Angeles County Juvenile Hall team, and has also served as Sophomore Class Pres­ ident.

the Koinonia Class which has an en­ rollment of more than 200 people. He is survived by his widow, Esther, and a daughter Mrs. Marilyn Wool­ sey Weir of Pasadena. Mr. Woolsey was manager of Lyons Van and Storage, Pasadena, past pres­ ident of the East Pasadena Rotary Club, a member of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses, and a member of the Pasadena Chamber of Com­ merce. His smiling countenance and radi­ ance for Christ will be greatly missed by all who ever met him. Mr. Allen Mr. Wood Vice-President David Wood is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Wood, 6719 Brentmead Avenue, Arcadia, California. A junior, Mr. Mead is a psychology major and while at Bio­ la has been working in the San Gab­ riel Union Church, San Gabriel, Cal­ ifornia. Coming from Rensselaer, Indiana, Miss Linda McCorkel has been se­ lected as secretary for the coming year. Her parents are the Rev. and Mrs. Harry McCorkel. She. is a junior, majoring in elementary education and non-professional psychology. While attending Biola she has served with Sunday schools in various areas of Southern California.

Miss McCorkel Miss Liddicoat Margie Liddicoat, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Liddicoat of 1006 Tenth Avenue, Redwood City, California, will be student treasurer. She is a sophomore and is majoring in elementary education.
