WHAT PATIENTS ARE SAYING “I came in with little pain to begin with, but I soon had no pain at all. The providers I worked with directly were Candice and Aaron-- delightful people who made my visits pleasant. The girls at the front desk were fantastic and friendly. I didn’t always look forward to my appointments but I was always glad I came. Superior has some great people who helped me get through my therapy with a smile on my face and hope for better things. EXERCISE ESSENTIALS T RY T H I S MOV EMENT TO R E L I E V E L E G / H I P PA I N . CLAMSHELLS Lie on your side with your hips at 45 degrees and your knees bent to 90 degrees. Your heels are in line with your buttocks. Tilt your hips forward towards the ground slightly. Lift your knees apart (like a clam opening). Water is a great healer and the ideal medium for rehabilitation, conditioning and training. With little or no weight bearing in the water, aquatic therapy is safe and effective. Buoyancy reduces the force of gravity on the body, improving range of motion. Hydrostatic pressure-the force that water applies to the body, can improve circulation and decrease blood pressure. Aquatic therapy can increase strength, bone density and circulation. Great for spine disorders, post operative spine surgery, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, and more.
