—13— Q. What should convince all men that God is love? A. “God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). —14— Q. How was it that Jesus Christ could die as a substi­ tute for all men? A. He was “God manifest in the flesh” (1..Timothy 3:16). —15— Q. How was He born into the world? A. “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” “That which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost” (Mat­ thew 1:23, 20). —16— Q. By what crowning miracle was the deity of Christ proven ? A. “Declared to be the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead” (Rom. 1:4). —17— Q.
