Christine’s kitchen had been the heart of her home for over 40 years, but the outdated 1984 oak cabinets no longer reflected the warmth and functionality she wanted. This allowed her to keep her beloved black granite countertops while updating the cabinets and backsplash. The kitchen layout was also improved, swapping the refrigerator and double ovens for better flow and repositioning island drawers for easier access while cooking. Christine was thrilled with the results: her kitchen now felt like home, offering better efficiency, storage, and a recycling center she loved. The Bergs often host gatherings, and the kitchen naturally draws people in. Christine loves hearing guests marvel at the transformation, saying, “Wow, what an amazing space!” Reflecting on the entire process, Christine’s only regret is “not having done it sooner”.
