that includes risk assessment, prevention measures, training and the monitoring of workplace incidents in line with national legislation and industry standards. This framework is anchored in the company's formal Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy, which is aligned with the principles of ISO 45001 (the company is not certified to the standard) and applies to all employees, as well as to contractors and visitors operating on company premises or on its behalf. Through the HSE Policy, management commits to providing the resources needed for safe working conditions, to systematic risk control and the continuous reduction of work-related injuries, occupational illness and incidents, and to applying preventive measures that reduce the likelihood of unwanted HSE events. Every employee is responsible for their own safety and that of their colleagues, including the right to refuse any activity that could endanger life, health or the environment. The company maintains the knowledge, competence and awareness of its employees on HSE matters through ongoing training and information. Accountability for safety and health runs through the organization from the top down. Line management at every level is responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the HSE system, supported by dedicated HSE professionals who bring specialist expertise to the practical application of safety measures across the business. Every employee's role in keeping themselves and their colleagues safe is written into their job description and employment contract, reflecting the company's view that safety is a shared responsibility rather than the concern of a single department. Hazard identification, risk assessment and incident investigation Air Serbia manages the identification, reporting and investigation of workplace hazards through a structured, company-wide digital reporting system, accessible to all employees across Air Serbia, Air Serbia Ground Services and Air Serbia Catering. The system captures both reactive reporting , incidents, accidents and near-misses with an actual or potential safety, environmental or operational consequence , and proactive reporting of unsafe conditions, unsafe behaviours and positive safety observations identified during day-to-day operations. Every report follows a defined path from initial submission through verification, investigation and final approval, ensuring that root causes are properly analyzed and that corrective actions are assigned to a responsible owner with a clear implementation deadline. Corrective actions are only considered closed once their effective implementation has been confirmed. All reported events remain visible and traceable within the system, reinforcing a culture of transparency and shared responsibility for safety outcomes.
