Partnership with the Inclusive Serbia Centre
Promoting inclusion at the Palace of Science As part of Children's Week, Air Serbia joined the Inclusive Serbia Centre and the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs in organizing an event dedicated to promoting inclusion at the Palace of Science in Belgrade. More than thirty children from different communities took part in exploring interactive exhibits and an art workshop on the theme of inclusion.
The first Inclusive Serbia - Challenges and Perspectives conference Held in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, the first international conference of its kind brought together stakeholders around the theme of inclusion and the perspectives for building a more accessible society. On this occasion, the winner of the art competition received the On the Wings of Dreams award, a flight to a destination of their choice. Through these initiatives, Air Serbia reaffirms that openness, solidarity and accessibility are not only values but concrete commitments to building a fairer and more inclusive society.
Air Serbia and the Inclusive Serbia Centre signed a Protocol of Cooperation with a shared mission to contribute to a society of equal opportunities and to a greater understanding of the needs of persons with disabilities , particularly in the area of travel and air transport. The cooperation enables the company to further improve the travel experience for all passengers, including persons with disabilities, and reflects its commitment to accessibility and equality. The protocol marks the beginning of a partnership that translates into concrete activities aimed at raising awareness and knowledge about inclusion, and at making an accessible environment a shared responsibility across society.
As a partner of the Centre, Air Serbia supported the Inclusive Serbia art competition for primary-school pupils from the first to fourth grade across Serbia, giving children an opportunity to express their creativity while conveying a message about the importance of equal opportunities for all. The company sees art and education as means of broadening horizons and building a more inclusive society, and remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote equality and the development of children's talents.
