went on to lead the fraternity in various capacities…His achievements and lega- cy have been recognized and chronicled as we honored him with the coveted Laurel Wreath and Elder Watson Diggs Award. Dr. Bryson was a man of many talents including an accomplished pia- nist and author. Doc’s greatest accomplishment, however, was his service to the fraternity in shaping the lives of thousands of men who became brothers in our fraternity through the Alabama State Univer- sity Chapter, the Beta Zeta of Kappa Alpha Psi ® . Under the watchful eye of Dr. Bryson as Advisor, his leadership served and helped turn boys into men who ‘achieved in every field of human endeavor’. Doc will live forever through Beta Zeta…That is the real legacy of Dr. Ralph Joseph Bryson and we are profoundly honored.”
33 rd Grand Polemarch Thomas A. Battles, Jr., Dr. Gwendolyn Boyd, 14 th President, Alabama State University, Grand Polemarch Reuben A. Shelton III, Esq., and Southern Province Polemarch Chuancy E. Haynes are among the speakers who offered moving reflections in the celebration of Dr. Bryson's life.
