Finally, year-long centennial obser- vance activities conclude with a tailgate event during Michigan's Homecoming Weekend. Several of these events are open to the public. Bentley Historical Library https://bentley.umich.edu/search_ gcse/?q=%22kappa+alpha+psi%22 Founded in 1935, the Bentley Library on the U-M campus maintains "the Sigma Chapter Centennial Col- lection," containing chapter artifacts, clipping of Kappa Alpha Psi Journal articles on Sigma Chapter, and photos. Sigma Chapter initiates are encouraged to donate items related to the Bentley Library via the Centennial Committee.

attending U-M for two years, Burnett earned a B.B.A. degree from Florida A&M University. Timothy A. Dismond, Esq. (Sigma 1987) Dismond is Chief Responsi- bility Officer for CBRE, the world's largest commercial real estate firm, overseeing the company's Environ- mental, Social & Governance (ESG) efforts. He is a member of CBRE's Executive Committee, a group of ten global executives responsible for driv- ing the company's business worldwide. Dismond is a broker and licensed attorney by profession and practiced law at a large law firm in Kansas City for several years. He earned a B.A. from U-M and a J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law. Thomas A. Goss (Sigma 1966) Goss played varsity football at U-M and he earned in 1968 a B.S. in educa- tion. He is the chairman of Goss LLC, an independent insurance agency that holds such notable accounts as GM, Ford, and DTE Energy. In 1997, U-M hired Goss as the school's first African American Athletic Director [1997-2000] and is an NCAA Division Infractions Appeals Commit- tee member. Goss is a Life Member of

the Fraternity.

Brandon T. Grant (Sigma 2013) A Farmington Hill, MI native, Grant served as the Grand Lt. Strategus [2015-2017] in the 32nd Administra- tion of Kappa Alpha Psi. Grant was also a Northern Province board of directors member. He is a graduate of the 2015 LEADKappa program. Grant graduated in 2016 with a B.A. in psychology and later earned a master's degree in public health administration from Indiana University-Bloomington. Currently, he is the Strategic Support Manager, Office of the CEO at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System. Saul A. Green (Sigma 1966) Former United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan, Green served as deputy mayor of Detroit [2008 to 2011]. He is a graduate of U-M and the U-M Law School and past president of the University of Michigan Alumni Associa- tion [2001-2003]. Green is affiliated with Detroit (MI) Alumni Chapter. Brent A. Hawkins, Esq. (Sigma 1991) Graduated with a B.S. in engi- neering from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law. A Partner with Morgan Lewis, a leading patent law firm. He has over 20 years of experience litigating intellectual property and other complex commercial disputes for clients in juris- dictions throughout the United States. He is the leader of the firm's First Gen- eration Lawyer Network. John W. Henderson, Jr. (Sigma 1962) Henderson played two varsity seasons at wide receiver before being drafted by the NFL Detroit Lions in the 5th round of the 1965 NFL Draft. He played eight seasons for the Lions and Min- nesota Vikings, started in Super Bowl IV, and retired from professional football in 1972. He is a Life Member of the Fraternity and a member of the St. Paul- Minneapolis (MN) Alumni Chapter.

Distinguished Sigma Chapter Initiates

William L. Buntin, Jr. (Sigma 1962) At 6' 7" 250 lbs, Buntin played for the Michigan Wolverine basketball team, led by Cazzie Russell, to the 1964 and 1965 NCAA Final Fours, where Michigan lost to John Wooden-coached UCLA Bruins 91-80 in 1965 National Championship game. The National Basketball Association (NBA)'s Detroit Pistons made Buntin a territorial pick in the 1965 NBA Draft. Buntin played 42 games for Pistons in his only NBA season. Tragically, Buntin suffered a fatal heart attack in 1968 at age 26 while playing a pickup basketball game. The U-M Athletic Department retired his jersey #22, and the Wolverine basketball team annually gives the best player on the team the "Bill Buntin Most Valuable Player Award." Leonard Burnett, Jr. (Sigma 1983) Burnett is Head of Media and Origi- nal Entertainment at Hero Collective and Co-Founder/CEO of Uptown Media Ventures, publisher of Uptown magazine, where he served as CEO. He helped Vibe Magazine launch Vibe: Vixen. After Vibe reopened under new ownership, he served until 2012 as the group publisher for the magazine. After
