APi Group Newsletter - Volume 16 Issue 1

Built on the strong and reputable foundation of two long-time APi Group companies, APi Distribution and ASDCO Construction Supply (ASDCO) have merged to create Tenet, a new business that leverages the strengths of both companies. Launched in January 2022, the new company made a major pivot from a product-first focus to a service-first company and brand. Tenet is a supply chain services company that provides a diverse portfolio of specialty

accessories, as well as design solutions such as stormwater and site preparation, to a range of projects in the commercial and industrial segments. Combined, the two former companies bring more than 100 years of excellence to Tenet. “This was a perfect opportunity for us to create a bigger platform to accelerate our supply chain services capability. We bring a passion for going beyond product and delivering customized services,” said Jason Duval, vice president at Tenet. Tenet will continue to serve a customer base of many safety services and specialty services providers within the APi Group family of companies as well as its growing external customer base of small and midsize specialty service contractors throughout the U.S. Its customers include business owners, procurement leaders, project managers, field leaders and safety leaders. Tenet is headquartered in Arden Hills, Minn. and operates eight distribution centers (DC) primarily in the Midwest. Each DC is strategically stocked to meet customer needs across a variety of markets within building insulation, technical insulation, concrete/ masonry, civil site works, coatings and pipeline as well as maintenance, repair and operations and personal protective equipment. “While our roots began in the Upper Midwest, our robust partner ecosystem allows us to support clients around the nation. We are bringing relentless energy to help safety and specialty providers succeed by simplifying their supply chains,” Lucia concluded.

building products and services that include: Strategic sourcing, value engineering, inventory management, digital procurement, and training and certification, among others. “As APi Group continues to evolve, we saw an opportunity to integrate our two supply chain services companies to form Tenet. The legacy businesses had several shared branch locations, served the same geography, and had complementary service and product offerings,” said Tony Lucia, president of Tenet. Procurement services company APi Distribution was known for its roots as a leading Upper Midwest insulation products and building materials supplier and fabricator. ASDCO Construction Supply supplied building products such as building enclosure materials and concrete
