Kippure Estate – 24 accommodation suites
Killowen Contracts, during the summer break, 198 bathroom refits and 38 kitchen refits were completed. This included disconnections, removals and fitting of new sanitar ware items. The business was delighted with the outcome of the project which was delivered on time. Portland Street Apartments, Belfast The Errigal Contracts-led project based in Belfast allowed MR Mechanical Services to apply its expertise to a building of 38 apartments. It allowed the opportunity to apply methods honed on smaller projects and put them into action in a much larger project. The success of this contract gave MR Mechanical Services the platform to push and secure larger- scale projects as it grew.

The project was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the overall standards of the company as a whole. MR Mechanical Services is now gearing up to complete another Pathfinder project in 2024. Residential works The business is on schedule to complete over 100 units in 2024 with an almost equal mix between apartments and houses. While focusing on commercial works, MR Mechanical Services can apply its skills to deliver a large quantity of residential works. This affords the business the opportunity to apply its skills honed on large scale commercial projects. It also enables the business to promote its own team by offering opportunities for its staff to grow into roles of seniority that may not have been available to them on larger projects.
Full plumbing and mechanical works were installed in a new accommodation block in a busy tourist destination hidden away in the Wicklow mountains. Working with Pure Engineering in a Buzil- led project, this construction was time sensitive and took a lot of planning and collaboration with other companies to ensure all was completed as requested. Colin Valley Football Club – new Sports Hub Based near Dunmurry in Belfast, this new building was built to cater for the local football team. MR Mechanical Services provided the servicing for plumbing, ventilation and air con on this project in conjunction with Kelly, McEvoy and Brown. It was very happy with the outcome and the project itself which, while not only an extremely well-functioning system, also ticks the boxes of the requested and required aesthetics.
