2. It will shut heaven’s door in our faces. If we shut Christ out of our hearts now, He will shut the door in our faces at last. Conclusion. Have you no room for Christ when He is your only hope? No room for Christ when salvation never enters save where His feet have crossed the threshold? No room for Christ when eternal bliss and heaven depend upon His occupying your heart now? No room for Christ when eternal blackness and darkness must for­ ever be the lot of those who crowd Him out? No room for Christ when the eter­ nal meeting of loved ones, to part with them no more, depends upon your admit­ ting Him into your heart now? in which they express the great good the magazine is to them in their work. They are not able to pay me for the subscrip­ tions, and I am really not able to furnish the magazine as a personal gift, for it takes close figuring here now to live on our salaries. Would it be possible for you to credit me with the $7.00 remaining unpaid? I note from time to time in the magazine that you receive amounts for use in send­ ing the magazine to people unable to pay for same.” A person who has received the maga­ zine during the past year, as a beneficiary of this fund, writes : “I assure you the good Lord will reward you and the person who so kindly continued my subscription for another year. I can say, in all my readings I have never found a work that sets forth the Bible and its doctrines as clearly as T he K ing ’ s B usiness . In fact, I think it the most practical help there is for every-day study. Again thanking you for your kindness to one of thé least of God’s children, I beg to remain yours for the spread of the Gospel.”

(a) The condemnation which comes from the consciousness of sin and guilt is removed. (b) Victory over sin’s power is assured. 2. The realization of life’s greatest pos­ sibilities comes from admitting Christ into the heart and life. 3. We are guaranteed a safe home at last. IV. The Consequences of Refusing to Make Room for Christ. 1. It reveals a hard and sad condition of heart. To know what Christ has done ■ for us and then not to respond is surely hardness of heart. T HIS magazine receives many letters from Missionaries, Ministers and other persons, expressing the benefit they derive from the helpful matter it contains, but regretting their inability to pay for it. Several times we have had a small fund for this, purpose, contributed by persons who desired to in this way do. their part in extending the influence of the Gospel. Calls have recently come from several sources, and the assurance is given to our friends that for every dollar donated to this fund, we will send T he K ing ’ s B u si ­ ness for one .year to some deserving per­ son, selected from a list of those who have asked for it. One of these comes from Manila. We are sending to D. H. Kleinfelter, superin­ tendent of the M. E. conference for the Philippine Islands, a dozen copies, without pay in advance. In a recent letter he says: “I am glad to remit $5.00 on this account. This is a personal contribution on my part, as I greatly appreciate the magazine for my native men who understand English. I get many letters of thanks from the men
