Across The Bendigo Region, thrifting and vintage hunting is less about shopping and more about the thrill of discovery. Rummage through racks of pre-loved fashion, fossick among antiques and collectables, browse rooms filled with furniture from another era, and lose an entirely unreasonable amount of time examining shelves of curious little things you didn’t know you wanted until approximately thirty seconds ago. Because that’s the joy of vintage. You never quite know what you’re looking for. Perhaps it’s a fabulous coat. A handbag from another decade. A piece of furniture with just the right amount of patina. Old records, beautiful glassware, quirky homewares or something wonderfully peculiar whose original purpose remains a complete mystery. So, leave a little room in the boot. Because you never know what you’re going to find.
