Texas Industry Partnership Program Award Announcement and Check Presentation
C oastal Bend College, in collaboration with Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend and the Kingsville Chamber of Commerce, is proud to announce the launch of an innovative Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) certification program. This groundbreaking initiative, made possible by a Texas Industry Partnership (TIP) grant of $150,000, aims to empower aspiring Aircraft Mechanics & Service Technicians in the Aerospace, Aviation, and Defense industry. Through the program, students will receive comprehensive training, earning an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree and FAA certifications. This prepares graduates for rewarding job opportunities within the industry, including positions with contractors at Naval Air Station - Kingsville.
