The aim of the lesson is to enable the participants to adhere to relevant legislation on chemical substances and comply with them in all relevant regions.

After having successfully completed this lesson, the participants can:
12) Explain the principles, core objectives, and key concepts of relevant chemical substance legislation and the application in the context of blade repair (Knowledge, intermediate level)

13) The participants can recognise that legislative requirements for particular countries and supranational regions will set the global standard for the handling of chemical substances in relation to Blade Repair (Knowledge, basic level)
14) The participants can describe the core objectives of relevant legislation to protect human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals (Knowledge, basic level)
The instructor shall:
Present a global overview of legislative frameworks on chemical substances
Emphasise that legislative requirements in particular supranational regions or countries will set the global standard for the handling of chemical substances in relation to Blade Repair
