The instructor shall:
Explain the meaning and purpose of LOTO
Briefly emphasise the requirement to use company specific LOTO procedures before initiating work
Briefly mention that additional, company specific, LOTO training may be required regarding LOTO
Briefly mention that there are different laws, standards and company specific rules that apply and need to be followed regarding LOTO (covered in company specific trainings)
Ask the participants relevant questions about meaning and purpose of LOTO
Ask the participants relevant questions about the importance of always following company specific LOTO procedures before initiating work
The participants shall:

The aim of the lesson is to introduce the participants to the limitations of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enable them to correctly select and use PPE based on information specified in the safety data sheets.
