As a former Miss France, Pascale Taurua is well-accustomed to the world of fashion that she portrays so well in her art. Unabashedly emotive, she challenges gender stereotypes by using clothes as a symbol of strength and sexuality. Combining strong lines and bold colours with floating fabrics and soft curves, Pascale’s oil paintings clearly depict the balance of vulnerability and power within women. So it is no surprise she has won a new audience of collectors since first exhibiting at our Summer Exhibition in 2017.
