ELEMENT 2.6 - SKILL STATION: RESCUE KIT AND EVACUATION
Learning objectives:
22) The participants can perform the correct use of the rescue device in passive and active mode (Skills, intermediate level)
The participants shall:
Perform a pre-use inspection of rescue and evacuation kits
Choose appropriate anchor points to attach the rescue device
a. demonstrate how to rig the device onto a ladder stile and, where identified as suitable, onto reinforced ladder rungs.
b. if the rungs are not suitable, slings must be connected around the stiles, positioned on one side and centrally on the ladder system, to ensure the moving parts of the device can operate freely
Perform active-mode single evacuation
Perform passive-mode double evacuation

While adhering to legal regulations and standards, the training provider must continuously ensure that the training material is updated and aligned with industry guidelines from G+, specifically Working at Height in the Offshore Wind Industry
LESSON 3 - WORKING AT HEIGHT TRAINING SCENARIOS

The aim of this lesson is to allow participants to combine skills practiced from skill stations into an industry relevant emergency scenario. This will enable the participants to apply the appropriate methods to control and reduce the risk of injuries when evacuating and rescuing from height.
