Recently, I went to a restaurant nearby that has been in busi- ness at the same location for a number of years. The food is good, the décor is ok but nothing special, and the menu hasn’t changed for as long as I’ve been going there. The restaurant was one of the first in an area that is now booming with development. That development brought several new businesses and other restaurants to the area. The development means more traffic and you’d think that would be good for this restaurant and exciting to it’s owner. However, because of how the owner interpreted change in his life, he did not look at it that way. I was at the salad bar and I
