Totally Fulfilled Book!

Chapter 1. Choose to Change

Using your energy to prevent someone else from growing and changing makes little sense to me. Instead of being envious of their position, why not take that as an opportunity to look at your own situation to see where you might improve? In the last section, we talked about imagining your Totally Fulfilled life. You discovered that imagining gives you not just an amazing feeling of freedom, but is also the first step to changing your life. We worked on eliminating most of the obstacles that may have been in the way of your success. I hope your imagination expanded from the beginning of the section until the end. Now it’s about to expand even further. In this section, we are going to address change, which freezes many people dead in their tracks. We all face a number of different kinds of change in our life: changes we need to make but are afraid of; unexpected, sometimes devastating, changes; and changes we should have seen coming but ignored. Would your life be different right now if one of those types of changes hadn’t held you back in the past? Or, is one of the changes holding you back right now, and maybe led you to read this book? By the end of this section, we are going to take to an even higher level that feeling you had when imagining your Totally Fulfilled life. In fact, what you imagined won’t be just a wish or a dream anymore; it will be a reality soon to come. You will be able to visualize what you want as if it has already happened. Make the Commitment Sound a bit crazy? Give this section 100% of yourself, and you’ll see what I mean. You’ve imagined what you want; you have broken down many obstacles. Now it’s time to commit to change. It starts at the core—your thoughts, beliefs, and actions—to truly get control of dealing with change.
