Giving is such an important part of relationships. Giving seems like such an easy thing to do. But life can sometimes throw us curve balls that can make it easy for us to feel that we need to receive something before we give something. That’s the “what’s in it for me” feeling. Life experiences can do this to you, especially if you feel you have been taken advantage of in the past for giving or trusting. We lose sight of the incredible feeling attached to giving uncondition- ally, especially when it comes to love and relationships.
