it’s not convenient. It’s easy to be a person of your word when things are good, but you will evolve to another level of life if you can do the same when times are tough. Through Thick and Thin I want to share a story about what happened to my company, Motor Millions. Earlier, I told you of the amazing feelings I had and the great accomplishment I achieved by starting this company from nothing and turning it into a multi-million dollar company, even through the adversity that I faced. Yet there was a not-so- amazing time in the history of that company. Several years into the business, I had accomplished many of the things I wanted to when I started that company. So when I was approached to sell the company and still receive a weekly royalty, I decided I would go for it and work on other ventures I had on my “to do” list. It seemed like a perfect solution towards my evolution. Unfortunately, even though the purchasing company had a lot of experience in this industry, they didn’t care about my cus- tomers the same way I did. Their short-term vision and greed quickly turned the company in the wrong direction—putting it on the brinks of bankruptcy in a very short period of time. Fortunately, the contract was structured so that if certain guidelines were violated, I had the right to take the company back. After six months of this group haphazardly running my company, I had no choice but to file the proper motions with the courts and
