Chapter 20. Be a Person of Your Word
I decided I would work hard in other areas to make the money I was losing with Motor Millions and pay back the debt and refunds. I ended up putting up to $20,000 a week into Motor Millions from money I was generating from my other businesses. This went on for well over a year. In fact, to this day I still have a customer service staff that I pay from other income sources to make sure any old customers with questions, or possible old refund requests, are handled properly. It was a very costly lesson, but one I am glad I learned. How would you feel if people looked at you and knew that your word or your handshake or your verbal commitment was as strong as any contract? It would make you feel proud of yourself, I can assure you of that. Can you be perfect in every situation all the time? Of course not. But if you made the conscious decision today to commit to something and do your best, then your life will flow towards prosperity on so many levels. Remember that if everything in life was taken away from you, and you had to start over with nothing, your word may be one of the only things you have left. So cherish this amazing gift you have to be a person of your word. I challenge you to do the right thing, and be a good person even when it isn’t convenient. It will reward you in ways you never thought possible. Relationships in all areas of your life, even with yourself, can open the door to massive success on all levels.
