Totally Fulfilled
The overwhelming majority of the world just talks about making a changes in their lives, but they don’t do anything about it. Well, guess what? You did. You took that first step, or you wouldn’t be reading this far. I made up a story one day while I was onstage giving a presenta- tion. Aman in the audience was telling me that he had tried a million different things, yet had no success. From what he shared with me, I could tell his lack of success sprang from his lack of follow-through. He was repeating the same steps with everything he tried and getting the same results. Well, the story I told affected him and the rest of attendees so greatly that I now tell it to people whenever I can. Imagine two neighbors. You give each a pack of the same tomato seeds. You say to them, “Here is your goal. I want you to stay focused and make it happen. I want you to grow big, beautiful tomatoes by the end of the season.” Neighbor 1 grabs the seeds, walks out in his backyard, kicks over some dirt, and finds a little open spot. He rips open the bag of tomato seeds with his teeth, and dumps them in one pile. He kicks some dirt over them and goes back inside the house. He grabs a beer and watches TV. Neighbor 2 reads the directions. He gets a hoe, finds a spot in the sun that makes sense, and hoes up the ground. He plants the seeds carefully, and puts some fertilizer on them. He waters them and takes care of them. If weeds start to grow, he pulls them. If the vines get long and limber, he stakes them. Neighbor 1 walks outside every once
