the way, such as your parents, grandparents, special friends or rela- tives, husband or wife, your children, and any others. Think of the amazing lessons you have learned from them. Thank God or your Higher Power for allowing you life and the ability to control your own destiny. Be proud of yourself for a moment, and reflect on the accom- plishments you may have forgotten you achieved. We all have accomplished so many things, but when we are down we forget them. Maybe you can think of your first job, winning at a sport, your wedding day, the birth of a child, helping someone in need, being creative when others were not, being the best parent you can be, or making sacrifices so others could have more. Reach inside, find your accomplishments, and remember them with a smile on your face. Be proud of yourself, if just for a moment and let it feel good. You deserve it. Take a moment and wish good things for those who may need it and have even tougher obstacles than you do. It’s always good to remember others. Now, think of the things you would love to accomplish, rather than thinking of the problems of yesterday or the problems that could happen but haven’t yet. Realize we will always have problems. They will never go away, until the day we die. How we handle problems is what either creates or removes stress. The bigger and better your life gets, the bigger your problems get. After you read this book, however, you will be able to handle any prob- lem in a fraction of the time and eliminate the fear, stress, anxiety and many other feelings that once accompanied problems. As you start your day, visualize what your perfect day would be like: ! How would you start today if you truly believed anything is possible? ! What would you do at work? ! Would you start working on that special project?
