A few years ago, I lived in upstate New York in a tiny little town. Next door to where I lived was roughly 30 acres for sale that an older farmer had. The area was filled with apple orchards and grape vineyards. It was a beautiful part of the country. I wanted to buy this property, but at the time I didn’t have any cash, hence obstacle number one. I faced a couple of extra obstacles as well as just lack of funds. An older farmer owned the property, he was a wonderful man, but he also had a set price in mind for the property and would not budge. He had the property for sale for several years and had a number of offers, but he wanted his exact dollar or he wasn’t
