TIER 2: EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE

SUPERVISION AND COACHING FOR THE EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE Supervision is a statutory requirement of the EYFS. This session ensures delegates understand the legal requirements and can conduct effective supervision sessions working within the parameters of the role. It also provides exemplar materials, facilitating support to implement the process in school.

DEFINING QUALITY AND MONITORING TEACHING & LEARNING IN THE EYFS Delegates will develop the knowledge and confidence to recognise and articulate features of high-quality practice. They will be able to select and use a range of monitoring tools to improve the quality of teaching, practitioner interaction and learning environments.

Suitable for: EYFS leads / SLT.

Suitable for: EYFS Leads and senior leaders in Primary schools.

GROWING YOUR OWN EY CURRICULUM Delegates will be able to understand, the process through which to develop and implement a properly sequenced EY curriculum to enable pupils to build their knowledge and skills towards the agreed end points.

SEND AND INCLUSION IN THE EARLY YEARS This course will look at the key statutory requirements around the SEND Code of Practice and the Equalities Act. More importantly, we will explore how such policies might translate into practice. What are some of the day-to-day realities when supporting young children with SEND that have transitioned into our schools, often with a range of diverse additional needs?

Suitable for: Reception Teachers & EYFS Leads.

Suitable for: EYFS Practitioners, SLT and SENCOs.
