Role of Consortium Partner and Secondary Network Lead
BEP is committed to supporting the Birmingham promise to promote the achievement and well-being of all children and young people in the city, including pupils with SEND. To do this BEP created the Consortium Partner role. Consortium Partners' responsibilities are to engage and develop strong relationships and collaborative working within Primary Consortia, that will implement robust plans and strategies to support all schools in delivering better outcomes for young people. Our Secondary Network Lead works to co-ordinate the Networks across the city, ensuring that BEP is integral to, and known throughout, the secondary landscape as a facilitator, sign poster and provider of high-quality contract funded and traded school improvement initiatives.
Core Responsibilities of Consortium Partners
1. Attend Consortium meetings and support the Chair. 2. Support Consortia to identify common areas of need, assisting with planning and implementation of specific school improvement projects on identified priority areas within the Consortia.
