MAINTAINING A TOP-NOTCH FLEET
Investments Ensure We Have The Best, Safest Equipment Our top-notch equipment is an important part of our professional standard. If our 2023 purchases are any indication, we’re continuing to invest for the future so our associates can have the best possible quality of life and safest driving experience in the industry. These investments include 502 Freightliner sleeper trucks, 535 Volvo tandem daycabs, 100 forklifts, 450 roll-up trailers, 785 swing-door trailers and 300 40- foot chassis. Additionally, we’re continuing our commitment to environmental sustainability by purchasing 10 electric forklifts that will be used in our Distribution & Fulfillment facilities and the new Mobile service center. FOCUSING ON SAFETY As has been the case for many years, our trucks provide drivers with
state-of-the-art safety features. These include adaptive cruise control, as well as collision-avoidance, roll-stability and lane-departure warning systems. We’re also continuing to protect our driving force through forward-facing cameras, which can help prevent false accusations by other motorists. As we move forward, we’ll continue to invest in recruiting the best associates, providing you with the best equipment and amenities, and keeping you safe with dynamic safety features. It’s all about ensuring we can share a bright future together! T m

FOCUSED ON THE FUTURE
Facility Enhancements Put Us In Position For Growth Building toward a bright future is at the heart of all we do. One way we do that is – quite simply – to “build” for the future. We have lots of enhancements currently in the works, and they range from lighting and parking to completely new facilities. MOVING IN MUSIC CITY One of the most wide-ranging enhancements currently underway is at our Nashville service center. It includes improvements to our gates so drivers can more easily maneuver the entrance, and we’ve added space for more parking. We’ve also done extensive work on the shop, with new bathrooms, new maintenance pits and more. And we’re in the process of making improvements to the lobby and exterior so we can put our best foot forward to our customers and the public. Another aspect of our Nashville expansion is that we’ve moved our Distribution & Fulfillment facility to a new location right off Interstate 840, an important corridor in Middle Tennessee. The new warehouse provides 290,000 square feet of space, and it helps us continue our focus of building density throughout our core network. The previous Nashville Distribution & Fulfillment facility, meanwhile, is being transitioned into a larger space for our On Tour Logistics team, which specializes in the concert and special events markets. We’ll also use that area to provide more parking for our over-the-road drivers.
IN POSITION FOR GROWTH Projects like these help us provide our associates with state-of-the-art amenities and give us all the best possible quality of life on the job. And they also allow us to stay ready when customers give us more opportunities to grow. It all comes down to our Winner’s Circle – when we take care of Our Customers and Our Associates , we ensure Our Future is a bright one! T m Our new Mobile facility is one of many enhancements currently underway in our network. Several members of our team recently gathered there to check out the progress. Averitt team members include (front, from left) President and Chief Operating Officer BARRY BLAKELY , Mobile transportation specialist TORI SIMS and Vice President of Operations LARRY MASON (center, left), along with (back, from left) Mobile Service Center Director MARK WALTERS , Region 3 Vice President DAVID MCGONAGILL , Director of Maintenance DOUG LLOYD , Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing KENT WILLIAMS and LTL operations leader AMOS ROGAN .

Dedicated Driver Finds Success Referring People Like You Petco Dedicated driver MAREO JACKSON MAREO JACKSON joined our team last October, and he recently earned referral rewards by helping us add two new associates to our team! One of those associates is his son, JAMES WILBORN, JAMES WILBORN, who also serves as a Petco Dedicated driver in Dallas. “I wouldn’t refer my son if I didn’t believe in the company and wasn’t treated well,” Mareo says. “The pay is good, I’m treated like family, and I feel like I am making a difference here. I feel like I have the opportunity to grow here, and I want to go the distance with Averitt.” Mareo says he referred James to Averitt after he saw how much he enjoyed being part of our team himself, and he wanted the same for his son. “He was working for another company, and I felt like he was undervalued, so I told him he should come check out Averitt,” Mareo says. “It’s nice being on the same team as him.” 'I FEEL LIKE I AM MAKING A DIFFERENCE'
James says he had always heard good things about Averitt, but the referral from his dad is what made him want to apply and see it for himself. “Coming from an over-the-road position, I love working with Dedicated,” James says. “Averitt gave me a more traditional schedule, allowing me to be home with my family more often. That was really important to me.” Thank you, Mareo, for helping us grow by referring People Like You! FROM the DOCK TO LEADERSHIP Former Dock Associates Promoted To Leadership Roles
Scott got his start as a part-time dock associate at our Nashville service center. He was attending college during the day and was looking for a job to work at night. “I don’t think I knew a truck from a trailer when I first started,” Scott Director JEFF TAYLOR JEFF TAYLOR each began their careers on the docks in 1997. gotten to know and work with a lot of people over the years, and it’s been a real pleasure.” Jeff began his career as a full-time dock associate in Charlotte, working both the inbound and outbound lanes. After two years, he moved to Greensboro to be a frontline leader while his wife attended graduate school. “Greensboro is where a lot of my growth took place,” Jeff says. “I worked any and every shift available, so I got a good grasp of what each operation did – both individually and as a team.” In 2002, Jeff transferred to Hickory to become an outbound leader. He moved to inbound operations in 2010 where he served until being named service center director earlier this year. “I like everything about Averitt,” Jeff says. “I enjoy the small-town feel of Hickory, and the culture, atmosphere and people have kept me here for 26 years.” WANT TO GROW IN YOUR CAREER? “We saw it as a great way to expand our offerings,” Vice President of Corporate Transportation DANNY CROOKS says. “Plus, being in Nashville, there’s a lot of production that takes place and originates from there – lights, sound, staging and things like that. We started with lighting and began to make connections with various production managers and others in the industry.” Danny attributes much of OTL’s success to the very same factors that make us one of the leading transportation providers in the country. “Our OTL team is recognized for its outstanding customer service and professionalism,” Danny says. “Because of this, we have a lot of repeat customers, and that list grows every year.” One of those repeat customers is Jake Owen, who has partnered with OTL for his tours since 2014. Along with Jake Owen’s ongoing travels, OTL is also currently on the road carrying equipment for All Elite Wrestling, Monster Jam and Morgan Wallen’s "One Night at a Time" tour. In fact, Wallen’s tour is currently OTL’s largest with 27 trucks! ON TOUR LOGISTICS CELEBRATES 10 YEARS OF SERVICE On Tour Logistics – the production and event wing of our Truckload service unit – is turning 10 years old! OTL got its start in 2013 with just three drivers. Today, the touring team boasts more than 100 drivers with trucks traveling coast to coast with musicians, sporting events and entertainment acts of all kinds. A Decade Of Helping Entertain America
In addition to moving equipment from city to city, OTL has found success in the warehousing market. “Our offerings grew with our Distribution & Fulfillment facility in Nashville,” Danny says. “We dedicated 20,000 feet to OTL storage because the demand has grown for it so much. Clients like the Country Music Association, CMT and various other sound and light companies store a lot of their equipment and staging with us, and there’s a lot of potential to continue growing.” With the opening of our new Distribution & Fulfillment center in Lebanon, TN, OTL is set to inherit the previous facility, located adjacent to Nashville International Airport. The 93,000-square-foot building will house several pieces of touring equipment for numerous clients. Many of our OTL drivers were existing associates who raised their hand and wanted to try something new and exciting. OTL is growing by the day and is always on the lookout for associates who want to join the team. If you are interested in hitting the road with OTL or want to learn more about our team, visit InsideAveritt.com/OTL. T m Our On Tour Logistics team recently celebrated 10 years of unique services. Fan Manufacturer Proud To Partner With Averitt 'YOUR FREIGHT IS IN GOOD HANDS' If there’s one thing that Big Ass Fans wants to do, it’s to make its product stand out. And an important part of making that a reality is its partnership with the Averitt team. BAF originated in 1999, and it has used its distinctive name and product to become a well-known maker of industrial and directional fans as well as evaporative coolers. Zachary Hahn of BAF’s leadership says our people and commitment to excellence make a difference. “What I really enjoy about working with Averitt is the hospitality and the relationships that you build with the folks at Averitt,” Zachary explains. “Also, that same level of care and dedication is extended to each and every shipment.” Zachary adds, “You know your freight is in good hands when you give it to Averitt.” We frequently talk about the importance of securing our future, and that’s something Zachary and his company are also focused on. He is confident Averitt will play a vital role in that success. “Averitt has the capacity, the ability and the desire to grow with us and scale up and achieve our goals too,” he says. “Averitt is a great fit, because
