Based at the (grand old) Duke of Cornwall hotel in Plymouth, our tour of South Devon takes in the pretty coastal town of Looe, a scenic cruise to learn more of Plymouth’s seafaring heritage and a delightful train journey through the valley of the River Dart before visiting the former home of the Earls of Mount Edgcumbe.

Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Looe & Trago Mills

As we stop at the Cremyll Quay in Cornwall to explore the beautiful village of Cremyll, we also enjoy a leisurely stroll around Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, along with entrance to the former home of the Earls of Mount Edgcumbe. NB: the landing stage at Cremyll Quay is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with significant mobility difficulties. Day 5 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home. HOW ABOUT? This morning, we head to the coastal town of Looe famous for its sandy beaches, harbour, boat trips and scenic woodland. Looe’s narrow streets are lined with independent shops, boutiques and wonderful places to shop. Next, we head to Trago Mills in Liskeard. Trago has always been more than just about shopping. In addition to over 180,000 bargains, the Liskeard store is surrounded by areas to relax or you can grab a bite to eat between the retail therapy! Day 3 South Devon Railway & Dartmoor Today, we enjoy a return journey on the South Devon Railway from Buckfastleigh to Totnes, along a seven-mile stretch of line that runs along the stunning valley of the River Dart. In the afternoon, we have a scenic drive across spectacularly beautiful Dartmoor. Day 4 Scenic Harbour Cruise & Mount Edgcumbe Country Park Today we will soak up the sights from a scenic harbour cruise with a delightful stop at the historic Mount Edgcumbe Country Park. As we set sail across Plymouth Sound, we will be treated to stunning coastal views and learn about the rich history of
