Day 1 Arrival & Christmas Lights at Leeds Castle We arrive at our hotel today, enjoying a late afternoon visit to the fabulous Leeds Castle, which rises majestically from the waters of its moat. Here, we embark on the magical Christmas Lights trail with enchanting illuminations, flickering flames and Christmas music bringing a fabulously festive atmosphere to the wonderful grounds. Admire the magnificent castle lit up in colourful splendour. Day 2 Hever Castle & Gardens & Lunch Today we visit the romantic, double- moated, 13th century Hever Castle , well known as the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. Inside, we marvel at the beautifully decorated rooms, log fires and twinkling Christmas trees; outside, we explore the illuminated grounds with fabulous colours, festive music and twinkling lights. Day 1 Arrival Day 2 Oxford or Bicester Village & Blenheim Palace This morning, we can choose to visit the city of spires, Oxford, for sightseeing/ shopping or take a trip to Bicester Village Outlets for some Christmas shopping. After plenty of time for lunch, we drive to the fabulous Blenheim Palace with the rest of the day free to explore one of England’s largest houses. As well as being a family home, it is also a mausoleum and national monument, and of course, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Day 3 St Albans & Waddesdon Manor This morning we travel to the historic city of St Albans dating back to Roman times with free time to visit its key sights such St Albans Museum & Gallery, Clocktower or spectacular St Albans Cathedral. Or enjoy browsing in the town’s vibrant independent shops. This afternoon, we have a festive treat as we experience the Waddesdon Manor Light Trail . The French Renaissance-style chateau will be transformed with captivating festive displays and Christmas decorations. We can discover magical light projections on the Manor façade and a glittering light trail Taste of Christmas Past: Festive Tea and Victorian Ironbridge Sure to leave you firmly in the festive mood, this fabulous Christmas combo includes a festive afternoon tea at Wedgwood Pottery and a visit to Blists Hill Victorian Town to experience a Victorian Christmas!
