Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.
Day 4 RHS Wisley Gardens Following breakfast, we head straight to a the remarkable RHS Garden Wisley, renowned as one of the premier gardens globally and the headquarters of the Royal Horticultural Society. During our visit, we will have the opportunity to admire one of the largest plant collections in the world while wandering through the diverse themed sections, including the Wellbeing Garden, the Wildlife Garden, the Exotic Garden, Seven Acres, Heron’s Bonsai Walk, and the impressive Glasshouse. The abundance of sights available ensures that we are thoroughly indulged in our choices. We also have plenty of time to indulge in a cream tea. Day 5 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home. Day 2 Polesden Lacey & Denbies Wine Estate Our day starts with a visit to Polesden Lacey , the perfect Edwardian retreat where the Queen Mother spent her honeymoon. With a glittering Gold Saloon designed to impress kings and maharajahs and an extensive collection of art and ceramics, the house is a treat to explore. Mid afternoon, we head to Denbies Wine Estate , where we enjoy a 50 minute Denbies Vineyard Train Tour , taking in viewpoints with a recorded commentary, and glass of wine. Day 3 Brooklands Museum After breakfast, we visit Brooklands Museum , the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation and the home of Concorde. Opened in 1907, Brooklands is steeped in history and has spawned many great pioneers, drivers, aviators and engineers. It has numerous highlights to keep us rapt, amongst which are the Brooklands Aircraft Factory, the Concorde Experience and for the brave-hearted, the F1 Simulator. In the afternoon, why not go up to Box Hill for spectacular views over the beautiful Surrey countryside; take a stroll or enjoy a cup of tea in the friendly café.
