Day 1 Arrival Day 2 Castle Howard at Christmas This morning, we make our way to Castle Howard to explore the castle and grounds at Christmas. Day 3 Harrogate & RHS Harlow Carr GLOW This morning we are at leisure in Harrogate, exploring the Christmas Market (December tours only) and what the town has to offer. In late afternoon we make our way to RHS Harlow Carr for their GLOW event, an illumination trail around the gardens. We return to the hotel in time for dinner. Day 4 York Christmas Markets Today we make our way to York and begin our day here with a 60-minute sightseeing cruise . Once we disembark, we have the rest of the day at leisure in York, exploring the Christmas Markets. This morning, we have time at leisure in Durham before making our way to Auckland Palace to explore the Palace at Christmas we enjoy a festive hot drink & mince pie in the Spanish Galleries before enjoying AGLOW . One of the biggest light trails in the North East including a tunnel of lights and 22 large scale light displays. Day 3 Barnard Castle & Bowes Museum This morning we have free time in the market town of Barnard Castle. Before making our way to Bowes Museum . Upon arrival we enjoy a 2 course Festive Lunch before having free time to explore the museum, gardens & parkland.

We have time here to enjoy a hearty soup or a delectable homemade cake at the Clock Tower Café. This afternoon we have free time in Newcastle. Day 3 Cragside at Christmas This morning, we make our way to Cragside where the house is transformed into a magical Christmas adventure, with a different theme each year! Day 1 Arrival Day 2 Newcastle & The Alnwick Garden We spend the morning in Newcastle with free time for shopping and sightseeing. We then make our way to Alnwick for some free time before late afternoon visiting The Alnwick Garden to admire the beautiful Winter Light Trail . Sparkling and shimmering illuminations light up the gardens in a stunning sound and light extravaganza at this after-dark spectacular. Day 3 Beamish Museum Today we delve into Christmases past with a truly traditional Christmas at Beamish . We indulge in roasted chestnuts, mulled wine and entertainment in the beautifully decorated museum, wander around stalls in the 1900s Town, and try our hand at traditional crafts and activities. Day 4 Durham Today we visit Durham to browse the shops and do some sightseeing. Day 5 Departure
