We’ll take a festival stroll through the spectacular world of illumination with 15 different light zones, in the shadow of the historic Cardiff Castle around picturesque Bute Park. The Park’s Christmas Village offers delicious drinks, snacks and festive cheer. This evening, we return to the hotel for dinner. Day 2 Cardiff & Cardiff Christmas Markets This morning, we have free time in Cardiff to explore its fascinating museums, markets and historic Cardiff Castle. Or picturesque Cardiff Bay with plenty of shops, cafes and attractions. This afternoon, we head to Cardiff Christmas Market with plenty of stalls to browse for hand-crafted gifts, decorations and delicious culinary goodies. This evening is at leisure, so we can choose where to enjoy dinner in the city centre. Day 3 Departure Highlander Turkey & Tinsel This festive tour includes a scenic train journey through the Scottish Highlands on the famous Kyle Line, time for Christmas shopping in Inverness, a delicious afternoon tea at the Palace Hotel & Spa and a tour and tasting at Glen Moray Distillery – ‘tis the season, after all!

We then have some time at leisure in Elgin. Day 3 Inverness & Afternoon Tea Today we travel to Inverness where we enjoy some free time to explore the local attractions and shops.
