Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 York & Ryedale Vineyards
This morning, we are at leisure in York. After lunch, we make our way to the family- owned Ryedale Vineyards . Upon arrival we will enjoy a cream tea before having a guided tour with one of the winemakers, including a short vineyard walk and of course wine tasting with local cheeses . There will be some time to buy any wine or cider direct from the cellar door, before we return to York and have the evening at leisure. Day 3 York’s Chocolate Story This morning we begin our day at York’s Chocolate Story , where a guided tour takes you through the story of how chocolate came to be, from ancient beginnings through the industrial chocolate factories in York. There will be live chocolate making demonstrations and of course some sample tastings! We end our tour in the café where we enjoy the finest hot chocolate in York! We then have the remainder of the day to explore York, stroll ‘The Shambles’, one of the best-preserved medieval streets in the world, visit the Minster or one of the many museums. The evening is at leisure. Day 4 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home. For 2 night/3 day itinerary York Chocolate Story can be done on any day.
