Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Yorkshire Wildlife Park Driver’s Day Off
ornate principal State rooms and discover fascinating facts, historical details and anecdotes about the people who lived and worked here over the centuries. We have buffet lunch in the Long Gallery. This afternoon, we explore the acres of stunning gardens with a garden tour. Day 4 Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway, Fish & Chips & Cleethorpes Today we hop on a historic miniature railway for a 45 minute return journey which travels along part of the picturesque Humberside Coast with the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway. The trip includes a delicious lunch of fish and chips plus a visit to the smallest pub on the planet, The Signal Box Inn! We also enjoy some time at leisure to relax in the Victorian seaside resort of Cleethorpes. Day 5 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home. Today we make the most of our time with a visit to Yorkshire Wildlife Park . As the UK’s number one walkthrough wildlife experience, we’re in for a ‘roarsome’ day out with around 475 animals to meet! Among the 60 different species, highlights include Project Polar, home to the largest collection of polar bears in England; magnificent African Lions in the seven-acre Lion Country; a family of Californian sea lions in the largest purpose-built habitat of its kind in the world; and the 300-metre raised walkway above Land of the Tigers. Other critters to look out for include rhinos, giraffes, red pandas, leopards, monkeys, lemurs, zebras, and many more! Day 3 Wentworth Woodhouse House & Garden Today we have a full day at the magnificent Wentworth Woodhouse & Garden , the grand, Grade I listed Georgian house in a country setting north of Wrexham. It is known to be the largest privately owned home in Europe and boasts a lengthy façade of 606 feet! In the morning, we enjoy a guided house tour to explore the
