PACKAGED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Yorkshire Wildlife Park Driver’s Day Off Today we have the whole day at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. Day 3 York We spend today in the ancient Roman city of York. First stop is a visit to the fascinating Jorvik Viking Centre . The rest of the day is free to explore at our leisure. Day 4 Yorkshire Wildlife Park or Lincoln We have choices today, perhaps another day at the wildlife park – there’s plenty to do – or we could visit the cathedral city of Lincoln. Day 5 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home.
Opened in 2022, the Hex Hotel is uniquely located in The Yorkshire Hive, a shopping, dining and entertainment complex which also includes Yorkshire Wildlife Park giving it a contemporary and informal setting. The hotel benefits from close proximity to the M180, allowing ease of access for touring days. All 52 modern bedrooms are to a superb standard with most offering walk-in showers. Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 York Christmas Markets We get into the Christmas spirit today with a trip to York Christmas markets; stroll the stalls, try some mulled wine and start feeling festive. Day 3 Christmas at Wentworth Woodhouse OR Chatsworth House OR Harewood House Today we head to Christmas at Wentworth Woodhouse which is beautifully dressed for Christmas. Alternatively, we could visit Chatsworth or Harewood House. Day 4 Yorkshire Wildlife Park Entrance & Illuminations Driver’s Day Off We have a full day at Yorkshire Wildlife Park today, followed by the spectacular illuminations , complete with coloured light installations and a choice of walks. Day 5 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home.
