Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Seaside Visit to Newcastle
towns where we enjoy an included soup, sandwich and Irish barmbrack lunch at the atmospheric Denvir’s Restaurant in the heart of the town. HOW ABOUT? Why not surprise your customers with a Celtic Storm dancing experience like no other and include a Dancing at the Crossroads with a former Principal Dancer and captain from the Lord of the Dance. Learn about the history of Irish Dancing and see an energetic performance! This will be a unique entertainment experience for your customers!
We start the day with a scenic drive of the majestic Mourne mountains the highest mountain range in Northern Ireland and Outstanding Area of Natural Beauty with 12 picturesque peaks. We stop for free time to explore Northern Ireland’s small and picturesque seaside town of Newcastle situated at the foot of the magnificent Mourne Mountains. Enjoy exploring this bustling town with its welcoming cafes and bars as well as the beautiful sandy beach. HOW ABOUT? Why not add a visit to the beautiful National Trust 18th century Castle Ward in County Down?. This is a real gem of a visit! Ask your Account Manager for details. Day 3 Carlingford & NearyNogs Chocolate Tasting This morning, we head to Carlingford to explore at leisure. This coastal town retains much of its medieval charm, so we can take in a number of historical sites and castles as we stroll through the narrow streets and lanes of the walled town. We will also have free time for lunch. We then hop on the Carlingford Ferry for a 20-minute scenic sail from Greenore to Greencastle. This afternoon, we have a delicious visit to NearysNógs , the master craft chocolate experience to discover the heartful story of chocolate and produce for Fortnum & Mason, Brown Thomas and Avoca! HOW ABOUT? Why not add a guided tour of Carlingford to learn more about its medieval past & its historic remains. Ask your Account Manager for details. Day 4 St Patrick Centre & Lunch in Downpatrick Today we visit the unique Saint Patrick Centre , the only permanent exhibition in the world dedicated to Ireland’s Patron Saint. An amazing multimedia exhibition guides us through the History of Ireland. We can also have a browse of the souvenirs in the Craft Store or enjoy a coffee at the Garden café.
