Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Falkirk Wheel & Stirling
the town serves as the eastern gateway to the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park so the scenery is magnificent. Day 4 Edinburgh Today we spend the day in Edinburgh with plenty of time to explore this atmospheric city as we wish. The Royal Mile served as a royal processional route between Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse and is now lined with shops, restaurants, pubs and visitor attractions. Take in the National Museum of Scotland, St Giles Cathedral or be tempted at the city’s distillery. Explore the shops and restaurants along bustling Princes Street, or visit Edinburgh Castle, the impregnable fortress standing on a rocky outcrop above the old town. HOW ABOUT? Why not add a visit to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. The King recently visited and tasted a dram of the 31-Year-Old Rosebank Whisky. Ask your Account Manager for details.
In the morning, we visit the Falkirk Wheel for a guided tour and journey on the world’s first and only rotating boat lift, an incredible feat of engineering and a famous Scottish landmark. It was designed and built to connect the Forth & Clyde Canal and the Union Canal which allows coast to coast navigation across central Scotland. This afternoon, we have free time in the city of Stirling to explore its historic attractions such as Stirling Castle and the Battle of Bannockburn Visitor Centre and enjoy the atmosphere in its relaxing cafes and pubs. HOW ABOUT? Why not add the newly reopened Rosebank Distillery for a guided tour with tastings to Day 2? The King tasted a dram during his recent visit to Scotland. Day 3 Loch Lomond with Cruise Today we visit Loch Lomond in the Trossachs, our first stop is to the pretty village of Luss where we join a 2-hour circular cruise of Loch Lomond to sail around the islands, Ben Lomand and hear stories of clans and Scottish legions. Afterwards, we travel north via the bonnie banks via Crianlarich to the town of Callander, known as the Gateway to the Highlands,
