Day 1 Arrival Day 2 Cardigan
Today we have a whole day to explore Llandudno known as the ‘Queen of Welsh resorts’ to enjoy the beautiful Victorian architecture, Edwardian elegance, pier, many shops and attractions. Why not enjoy a ride to the top of the Great Orme on the beautifully restored tram. On our return to the hotel we can stop in Betws y Coed, a pretty village on the edge of Eryri. Day 3 Llanberis Today we have the whole day at leisure to explore Llanberis, known for the Snowdon Mountain Railway, a narrow-gauge rack and pinion railway which takes you to the summit of Mount Snowdon, the tallest peak in England and Wales. It is also home to the Welsh Slate Museum, which holds one of the largest water wheels built by the Victorians. Water to power the wheel was piped down from the mountain and its power drove the machinery to product roof slates for the whole country. Day 4 Castell Caernarfon This morning, we visit Castell Caernarfon , recognised as one of the greatest buildings of the Middle Ages and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Royal fortress-palace
Today, after a leisurely breakfast, we have the morning to relax at our hotel. In the afternoon, we visit the ancient market town of Cardigan. Our first port of call is Cardigan Castle for a 1 hour guided tour before we explore the castle remains and stunning Grade II listed gardens at our own pace. We will then be free in Cardigan to explore the narrow streets and traditional shops of this ancient town at our leisure. Day 3 Tenby We spend a delightful day exploring the quintessential seaside town of Tenby whose narrow streets wind down from the medieval centre to the picturesque harbour, framed by pastel painted cottages. Wander through the charming, cobbled streets and take time out to watch the world go by from a quaint café. Enjoy a stroll along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path for stunning views. Day 4 St Davids Today, we visit charming St Davids, the smallest city in the UK. We head directly for St Davids Cathedral, a real beauty amongst places of worship. We can marvel at the Rose window as well

After breakfast, we head outdoors for a 2-hour local walk with an expert guide to explore and discover Grantown-on- Spey, a planned settlement in the heart of the Strathspey region. In the afternoon we enjoy an afternoon tea and quiz back at our hotel. Day 3 Grantown Museum This morning, we find out more about the local highland heritage with a visit to the Grantown Museum with a unique collection of artefacts and photos.
