Day 2 Frameless or The National Gallery & Free Time in London This morning, we visit London’s newest arts attraction Frameless , a highly acclaimed immersive artistic experience using cutting-edge technology to display masterpieces in a unique way. OR Add a guided tour of the world’s most famous collections of European art at the National Gallery to find out more about the works of art spread across the spectacular classic and modern galleries. Ask your Account Manager for details. This afternoon, we have free time to explore more of London’s incredible sights. To make the most of your time book a hop on, hop off bus tour and see the capital’s most impressive landmarks. Or head to one of London’s famous museums in South Kensington. Day 3 The Chimney Lift at Battersea Power Station & Departure Today we visit the capital’s most spectacular new leisure attraction at Battersea Power Station . With stylish shops and restaurants, the iconic Grade II listed building retains many of its art deco features. Set in one of the famous chimneys, the exciting new glass elevator visitor experience, The Chimney Lift, will take us to the top for incredible views of London’s stunning skyline. We then make our way home. 2 Nights
Day 2 Royal Opera House, Covent Garden & London Transport Museum This morning, we leave our hotel and head for Covent Garden where the prestigious Royal Opera House is located to immerse ourselves in the Royal ballet and opera scene - a behind-the-scenes tour. A fascinating insight, we’ll visit areas not normally seen by the general public like the rehearsal rooms, costumes and production workshops. Afterwards, we will have time to explore Covent Garden’s historical landmarks, endless shops and the buzzing Plaza where opera singers and acrobats keep visitors entertained. This afternoon, we will visit the London Transport Museum for an historical look at urban transport with galleries of vintage London trams, trains and buses. HOW ABOUT? Why not add another behind the scenes experience with the ‘Hidden London Tour at Piccadilly Circus Tube Station’? Opened originally in 1906 and later modernised in the 1920s, the tour includes hidden access to the remnants of the original Edwardian design features.
