Learning objectives:

83) The participants can describe indications for the application of medications in casualties according to national legislation (Knowledge, basic level)

84) The participants can describe contra-indications and possible side-effects of medication, e.g. analgesia, aspirin, glucose, glyceryl trinitrate (GTN) (Knowledge, basic level)

85) The participants can recognise prerequisites for the application of medication according to national legislation or after the release through the emergency call physician (Knowledge, basic level) 86) The participants can solve the challenges of how to safely and effectively manage administering medication according to national best practices or through the use of medical teleconsultation (Ability, basic level)

The instructor shall:

Present:

a. indications for the application of medications in casualties according to national legislation

b. contra-indications and possible side-effects of medication, e.g. analgesia, aspirin, glucose, glyceryl trinitrate (GTN)

c. prerequisites for the application of medication according to national legislation or after the release through the emergency call physician

Ask the participants involving questions about:

a. indications for the application of medications in casualties according to national legislation
