Learning objective:

32) The participants can explain functions and possible support from emergency rescue teams in WTG environments (Knowledge, intermediate level)

The instructor shall:

Explain emergency rescue teams:

a. functions of emergency rescue teams (internal onsite or external as part of the chain of survival)

b. external professional emergency rescue teams, the skills required, and the challenges associated

Outline the importance of providing ongoing care and assessment while waiting for professional help to arrive

Facilitate a group discussion on how to obtain telemedical advice and challenges associated e.g., poor communication skills, lack of signal, language barrier

Explain the means and use of medical teleconsultation focusing on the current and future applicability and technical infrastructure
