GWO Enhanced First Aid training is an extension of the GWO FA training. Therefore, on completion of the GWO EFA standard, the participant will be eligible to receive both the GWO FA certificate and the GWO EFA certificate.
5.6 Participant Prerequisites for the Enhanced First Aid
All personnel participating must meet the participant prerequisites described in the GWO Requirements for Training.
5.7 Enhanced First Aid Maintenance Training The GWO EFA training is to be maintained with at least two training days supported by relevant drills and exercises within 24 months of completing the EFA ref. Annex 2: EFA Guideline: Recommendations.
6. GENERAL RESOURCES REQUIRED TO DELIVER ENHANCED FIRST AID STANDARD
The training provider shall ensure that instructors, facilities, and equipment are in place to support the training of participants.
6.1 Instructors The instructor shall possess appropriate qualifications and experience to ensure that all training and supportive activities are carried out in accordance with current legislation and/or local guidelines and current version of GWO’s Requirements for Training.
