The BTT Installation Electrical module can be delivered as a standalone module or as combined training along with the BTT Installation Mechanical module.
Note
In a combined delivery of the BTT Installation Electrical and BTT Installation Mechanical modules the Training Provider may omit overlapping lessons.
See Annex 4 for elaborate information about combined delivery of BTT Installation Electrical and BTT Installation Mechanical. Timings and conditions for the combined Installation Mechanical and Installation Electrical delivery are specified.
5.5 Validity Period
The Basic Technical Training is an enduring qualification, so a validity period does not apply to this training.
A maximum interval between successful completion of each of the BTT modules does not apply, based on the expectation that the participant is actively working in a wind turbine environment. If there is an extended period of absence from applying the skills, retraining and recertification may be required according to national legislation and company policy.
