62) The participants can recognise how to control movement of loads when lifting by means of tag lines (Knowledge, basic level)
The instructor shall:
Facilitate group discussions on the risks and hazards associated with lifting operations (wind speed limits, loads falling due to failures in lifting equipment etc.)
Explain the importance of selecting the correct lifting equipment, (also including Working Load Limit)
Explain the importance of inspection of the lifting equipment (including Working Load Limit, markings must be readable)

c. visual inspection to confirm that it is in good condition
Explain the importance of reporting and tagging (“do not use”) damaged lifting equipment
Show examples of and explain typical procedural errors in lifting operations and damage to the equipment
