The instructor shall:
Explain the function of switches
Show examples of and explain the operation of switches (manual, part of a relay, part of a contactor)
Show examples of and explain the symbols for different switches (NO, NC)
Explain the position of switches in a circuit
Ask the participants relevant questions about the function of switches
