The training provider must not exceed the time per day given in the table 7.2.1 below.

Contact time includes delivery of course lesson content, practical exercises and activities directly related to these.

Contact time does not include homework such as preparation for teach back sessions and familiarisation with relevant theory
The total training day includes contact time, meals and breaks and travel between training sites (where applicable)
7.3 Core of the IQT: Teach Back Sessions The aim of the teach back sessions is for participants to practice the knowledge, skills, and abilities addressed in the course so far, including feedback from former teach back sessions, while further exploring the content. Participants teach back sessions form the core of the IQ training. Taught learning theory is expected to be applied in teach back sessions that follow. Further learning theory is added on an ongoing progression in terms of both topics and depth.
Learning Outcomes will be evidenced through the progressive teach-backs and assessment will be recorded on the IQT/IQTX Participant Performance Form (Annex 4) continuously throughout the course.
The structure and timing of the teach back sessions should be followed as outlined below to ensure that sufficient time is allocated for this practical training.
